1. What services does Forward Homecare provide?


We provide non-medical home care services such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.

 

2. Do you accept Medicaid/Insurance?
Yes, Forward Homecare proudly accepts Illinois Medicaid and most major insurances in the state of Illinois. We also assist clients in applying for Medicaid-funded home care services if they are eligible. Please call us for clarification. 

 

3. What if I can’t afford home care?
If you cannot afford care, we may be able to help you apply for Illinois Medicaid or other programs. Contact us — we’re here to guide you through the process.

 

4. Who qualifies for Medicaid-funded home care in Illinois?
Eligibility depends on income, assets, and medical need. Typically, older adults or individuals with disabilities who need help with daily tasks may qualify. We can help assess your situation and start the application.

 

5. Are your caregivers trained and certified?
Yes, all of our caregivers are trained, background-checked, and certified to meet state requirements. We also provide ongoing in-service training to ensure the highest quality of care.

 

6. Can I choose my caregiver?
In many cases, yes. We’ll work with you to match a caregiver who meets your needs and preferences. We also support self-directed care if you have a preferred individual in mind.

 

7. Do you offer private pay options?
Yes. In addition to Medicaid, we offer flexible private pay plans for clients who do not qualify for public assistance or prefer to pay out of pocket.
